Using one strobe with a softbox, light a person against a white background so that their face has a highlight and shadow side. The background should appear darker on the highlight side and the lighter on the shadow side.

One Light #3

     A.    In this first photo Logan is shown as a mysterious and serious guy and I aimed to allude to this mysteriousness by using a plastic bag directly in front of the lens. This allowed the light to be reflected and create ambiguous spots in the photo. I also used the inverse square law and held the light at a farther distance away from Logan, in order to allow for the lights to soften up around his face. 

   B.   In this second photo I placed my light source closer to Logan's face to create stark contrast,  and then removed his hat and allowed for his hair to be in his face in efforts to create a more playful image.

Assignment #2 Three Laws of Light

Law #1 Light travels in a straight line it never curves. 

Line #2 The angle of Incidence Equals Angels of Reflection.

Law #3 Inverse Square Line 

Law #1 The light created by the phone's flashlight goes through the cardboard in a straight line. 

Law #2 The light is reflected by the phone. 

Law #3 The light gets sofer the further it is from the light source.
